Counting visitors to a site is something most every web site owner or webmaster is interested in. Having a "hit counter" on a page is important to many although it really doesn't accurately reflect traffic to a web site that may have many pages, since often pages within the site are bookmarked separately. Most hosting services offer hit counters via a CGI script to display on your web page. If your ISP doesn't offer one, you may be able to use a free counter from one of the sites listed HERE.
